One(of the many) of the most fascinating things I’m reminded about everyday in Nursing School is how critical exercise is to the functioning human body. If you do not exercise, you may be at risk for a laundry list of chronic illnesses, lack of mobility, function and overall decrease in quality of life. Our bodies were intended to move, in lots of different ways, for a long time. “You don’t have to get sick to get better.” The things you do today will reward you in the quality of life you have tomorrow. If you want to have a more full and enjoyable life as you get older, EXERCISE. It is that simple. Get up, get out and get on with it!
